VA Airline Training and Bartolini Air join forces to help Ryanair Mentored cadets achieve their career aspirations

VA Airline Training and Bartolini Air have announced that they will be working together to enable their Ryanair Mentored APS MCC graduates to secure First Officer roles with Europe’s largest airline.

The new partnership provides cadets who have completed their CPL/IR training (Modular and Integrated) with Lodz-based (Poland) Bartolini Air, the opportunity to then complete their APS MCC training with Cambridge (UK) based VA: the UK’s only Ryanair Approved Training Partner.

The two companies announced their exciting new partnership at Bartolini Air’s training facilities in Poland when VA Managing Director, Anthony Petteford visited last month to present the opportunity to Bartolini Air cadets. Petteford says “Both VA and Bartolini Air are like-minded in our approach to ensuring the highest of training standards for both our mentored cadets and our airline partners. We value our Ryanair Training Partner approval very highly and are delighted to be working together with Bartolini Air to provide the 3-week APS MCC phase of training for their cadets in the inspirational city of Cambridge. To date 100% of VA Ryanair Mentored Programme graduates have progressed into type rating for the airline and we look forward to affording many more the same opportunity in the future.”

Bartłomiej Walas, Bartolini Air’s President, is equally enthusiastic about the partnership: “This new partnership is crucial for our current and future cadets. Thanks to it, our top quality flight training in brand new Tecnam aircraft at Bartolini Air is now supplemented by Europe's best APS MCC course in a Boeing 737 simulator at VA. This cooperation means great benefits for our customers, but it is also great news for our partner airlines, because we will be able to provide perfectly well-prepared cadets to service their flight decks.”

After the success of their combined presence at PilotExpo in Berlin last month, the two Ryanair Training Partners will join forces again at this weekend’s Pilot Careers Live, in Dublin. VA’s Managing Director, Anthony Petteford, and Bartolini Air’s Managing Director, Bartłomiej Walas, will both be on stand to answer questions from aspiring airline pilots, whichever stage of their training journey they may be at. Between the two companies, they are able to provide either a full Integrated ATPL or Modular CPL/IR training solution for aspiring pilots and help many more careers to take flight with Ryanair.
