Working with pilot training schools across Europe to maximise airline placement.

We work in partnership with schools who provide commercial pilot training.

The aim is simple: to improve your students' chances of securing airline employment.

A training partnership with Virtual Aviation means that your students will have access to our industry-leading AirlineReady™ MCC+JOC after completing their commercial pilot training with you.

The combination of your expertise in commercial pilot training and our expertise in specialist multi-crew training can be very powerful and beneficial.

The CPL/IR produces pilots qualified to fly light piston twins on their own, while airlines need a lot more than that. But for many of those student pilots who follow their CPL/IR course with a basic MCC and jet familiarisation course, their performance still does not impress the airlines sufficiently to result in a job offer.

A top-down approach to airline readiness.

With 18 years experience of helping more than 1,000 pilots secure their first airline job, we know exactly what airlines are looking for when recruiting pilots.

So, when developing the AirlineReady™ MCC+JOC we set out to redefine multi-crew training by placing a strong emphasis on employability and type-rating readiness.

The entire course is built around the core competencies airlines are looking for, rather than simply teaching pilots to fly in a multi-crew environment.

It's also the only multi-crew course in the UK which is delivered on a Boeing 737-800 simulator - the type most often used for airline assessments.

How does a Training Partnership work?

It can work in a number of different ways, depending on what is best for your school and your students.

  • A simple agreement to refer suitable students, with no minimum.
  • For schools referring more than 24 students per year, we can offer reserved places each month, with courses dates scheduled up to 12 months ahead.
  • For schools referring more than 48 students per year, we can also offer a physical presence with your own branding on documents and in our Flight Training Centre at Cambridge Airport, near London Stansted.
