6 reasons to choose Virtual Aviation

General Information

If you have any questions which aren't answered here, please contact us.

Why do I need to prepare for my assessment?

Competition for airline jobs is fierce and it is vital that you have a competitive edge over the other candidates. The preparation session will allow you to go into the actual assessment feeling confident and fully prepared.

I am not confident that I will get the job, so is it worth me booking an assessment?

Airlines don't waste money putting people through assessments if they don't want to employ them. If you have made it through the verbal interview and have been invited back for an assessment, the only reason for you not being offered a job is if you fail to perform to expectations - hence the importance of being fully prepared and free of nerves.

Can I bring a profile?

Yes. If you have been given a profile that you will be required to fly in your assessment, bring it with you. If not, we will take you through a typical interview profile.

I have passed my assessment, can I just come for some practice?

Of course. We have just launched a Bespoke Simulator Training product which allows you to do almost anything, from circuit practice, to raw data flying, to practicing for an LPC/OPC, or anything else you may need to do. Call Mark Green on 0870 350 0747 if you have any questions, and to tailor a session to your requirements.

Who will my instructor be?

We have a team of 40+ experienced airline pilots who work for us on their days off. Your pilot will not be there to test you, but to help you gain maximum benefit from the preparation session. Take a look at the Instructors page for just a few of our instructor profiles.

Where does the session take place?

We operate at professional airline training centres at Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Manchester - using full-motion simulators that are normally used by airlines for type-rating training and recurrent training. Please see our Locations & Simulators pages for more information.

How quickly can you arrange a session for me?

We can make a booking for you with as little as 24 hours notice. However, the flight simulators are often fully booked so the more notice you can give us the better.
