Why Virtual Aviation?

Virtual Aviation is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, and we take great pride in offering incredible experiences which will never be forgotten. Here's what we can offer you...

The most advanced flight simulators.

We operate some of the world's most advanced Airbus & Boeing full-motion flight simulators. For a full listing, see the Locations & Simulators page.

A choice of major-airport locations.

We operate at modern, purpose-built, professional airline training centres at Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.

A wide selection of dates.

We operate around 200 simulator sessions each month, so there will always be a huge selection to choose from. If we don't have the date you want, we'll do our best to arrange it for you.

A proven history.

We’ve been operating since 1998 and have thousands of happy customers. See our Customer Comments and Press Reviews.

Gift Vouchers.

Our open-dated Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months, at any location. They allow the recipient to choose their preferred date, location and aircraft type.

A team of experienced pilots.

You'll be accompanied by one of our team of 40 experienced pilots, all of whom are real airline pilots who enjoy 'flying' with members of the public on their days off.

Best Price Guarantee.

If you find the same (or similar) product for less, tell us and we’ll beat the price. Most of our Experiences are actually cheaper now than they were in 1998! See the Price List page.

Online Booking.

On our new website you can book a date, buy a voucher or redeem a voucher online at any time. You can even view and amend an existing booking. However, if you prefer to book by phone, or if you have any questions, please call us on 0870 350 0747 during office hours.

Don't get ripped off!

Be wary of cheaper experiences, the simulator quality doesn't come close...

There are several companies who offer old, basic flight simulators - but promote them as being similar to ours. In fact, we are the only company in the UK approved to operate real CAA-certified full-motion simulators for public visits.

If you're thinking about booking a simulator flight with another company, don't part with any money until you have asked these important questions:

  • How many locations do you offer, and are they major-airport locations?

  • How many flight simulators do you offer, and how new are they?

  • What is the choice of aircraft types?

  • Are the simulators at least 90% used by airlines?

  • Do the simulators have full six-axis motion systems?

  • Do the simulators have full-colour, wraparound, daylight visuals?

  • Is instruction provided by an airline pilot type-rated on that aircraft type?

  • How many dates do you offer each month?

  • Are the simulators certified by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) to Level C or Level D standard?

  • What is the building like, is it a modern airline training centre, and are there photos on your website?
