Our first location outside the UK, Palma is the elegant and cosmopolitan capital of Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands.
The warm climate of Palma makes it a popular destination all year round. You can spend time on one of the beaches getting a tan, or strolling by the waterfront with its colourful fishing boats bobbing alongside luxurious yachts. The waterfront is dominated by the spectacular Gothic Cathedral.
For energetic days out, you can indulge in many of the sports that abound in Palma - windsurfing, horseriding, waterskiing, golf, or spend a day at Aquacity, one of the islands largest waterparks. You may also want to try out one of the many fine restaurants by the marina and sample some of the local cuisine and finish off the evening in one of Palma's lively bars, discos and clubs.
If you venture outside Palma you'll find a beautiful island of diverse landscapes - from the stunning Tramuntana mountains and dramatic views to over 70 beaches and isolated coves, hidden valleys with ancient olive terraces, citrus groves, almond orchards and picturesque villages with great restaurants and bars. For those wanting more than a beach, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, climbing, bird-watching, painting, cycling, sailing and golf. There's no shortage of nightlife, but if you're in need of peace and tranquillity, there are plenty of rural hideaways.

The Training Centre, with its two Boeing 737-700/800 Next Generation flight simulators, is in Lluchmajor, next to the Marriott Son Antem Golf Resort. Llucmajor is to the east of Palma, and is approximately 10-15 minutes by car from the City and Palma Airport.

Driving directions from the airport
When you leave the airport, follow the motorway signs towards Campos & Santanyi. Once on the motorway (Ma-19), take exit no. 22 towards Son Noguera, Llucmajor & Algaida. After exiting the motorway make a left at the first roundabout, taking you over the motorway (Ma-19) and follow signs straight over the next roundabout towards Son Noguera (Industrial State).
