Choosing an Experience

If you have any questions which aren't answered here, please contact us.

How much does it cost?

We offer six different Flight Simulator Experiences; two Shared Experiences and four Exclusive Experiences. Prices start at £244.00 including VAT. For full details, please see our Price List.

What aircraft types can I fly?

We operate a large and varied fleet of modern Airbus and Boeing flight simulators, including the A320, A330, A340, B737, B747, B757 and B767. Please see the Locations & Simulators page for a full listing and information on each type of simulator.

Which locations do you offer?

Using modern airline training centres at Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Palma de Mallorca, we operate some of the world's most advanced Airbus & Boeing full-motion flight simulators.

I'm nervous of flying, is this right for me?

No. Flight Simulator Experiences are designed for enthusiasts. Our Fear of Flying Courses would be more appropriate for a nervous flyer.

What is the full duration of an Experience?

Experiences last from 1 hour up to 4 hours depending on the type of Flight Simulator Experience booked. All experience types also have an additional 30 minute pre-flight briefing which is conducted immediately before the session in the simulator. Future Pilot Programme sessions have an additonal 1-hour de-briefing, conducted immediately after the session in the simulator.

Please note that the duration of the experience runs from when you first enter the simulator and that some programming of the simulator may be required, resulting in a slightly reduced flying time.

What can I do in the time that I have?

During a 1-Hour Shared Experience you willl spend 20 minutes at the controls and pilot a complete short flight from take-off to touchdown. The remaining 40 minutes will be spent observing the two other customers.

During a 1-Hour Exclusive Experience you won’t be sharing with other customers, so you’ll have more time to practice your take-off and landing skills in various weather conditions, day or night.

With the extra hours available with a 2 or 4-Hour Exclusive Experience you will really be able to explore the simulator’s potential and fly some more challenging scenarios. Why not fly some genuine airline routes, such as  Heathrow to Paris, in real time?  Begin at the terminal, pushback, start the engines, then taxi out and wait for take-off clearance.

How many people can the simulator hold?

There is space in the simulator for four people. For an Exclusive session this can be made up of the person taking the experience, and up to three guests. The flying time can be shared as you wish. If you book a Shared Experience, the remaining two spaces are filled with two other members of the public, so you are unable to take guests into the simulator with you.

What is the difference between a Boeing and an Airbus?

An Airbus is controlled by a joystick and fly-by-wire technology, whereas the Boeing is controlled by a more conventional control column, as seen in many light aircraft.
