Security & ID Requirements

What are the ID requirements?

All visitors require a valid passport which must be shown to security on arrival at the Training Centre.  Pre-visit ID requirments differ for our training centres, so, for this reason it is VERY important that you check that you have given us the relevant information required by the training centre you'll be visiting, plenty of time in advance of your session. This information can be found in your confirmation emai and also online via the 'My Bookings section of our website.

Please Note:

For London Gatwick (GCAT) and London Heathrow (GCAT) training centres only, basic passport details (nationality, passport number and date of birth) need to be provided at least 3 days before your visit.

For London Gatwick (CAE) training centre only, all visitors must have a valid UK or EU passport and you will need to provide us with your passport details (nationality, passport number and expiry date) at least 3 days before your visit.

Must I have a UK/EU Passport or are other passports valid?

For London Gatwick (CAE) training centre only, all visitors must have a valid UK or EU passport and you will need to provide us with your passport details (nationality, passport number and expiry date) at least 3 days before your visit.  Other passports are acceptable forms of ID for the other simulators.

Is a passport the only form of ID I can use?

Yes.  Passports are the only acceptable form of ID.  Driving Licenses or other forms of ID will not be accepted, all visitors must have a valid passport which must be shown to security on arrival at the Training Centre in order to gain access.

Are there age restrictions for the Fear of Flying Course?

Officially the minimum age is 18, however we have worked successfully with children, the youngest being 9 years old. Care is taken to assess each individual case in conversation with the parent(s), the child, and sometimes also seek medical opinion. It is very important to the success of the course that children are willing to come and are not being put under pressure to attend a course. Due to age restrictions, childrens courses are only available at certain Training Centres.
