BA CityFlyer First Officer Placement Programme
The BA CityFlyer First Officer Placement Programme is a unique work placement and airline-funded training programme specifically designed for modular trained pilots.
The programme is being launched by BA CityFlyer in partnership with Kura Aviation, and it reflects the strong belief and value that both companies place on the skills and qualities that modular trained pilots bring to the industry.
The successful candidate will benefit from the combined opportunity to gain professional development and operational experience, before going on to airline-funded training through Kura’s BESTPILOT programme, which includes Airline Jet Transition (AJT) training delivered by Virtual Aviation.
On successful completion of that training, the individual will be offered a full-time permanent role as a First Officer on BA CityFlyer’s Embraer fleet, with the cost of the type rating being paid by the airline.
Captain Dave Cox, Head of Training at BA CityFlyer, commented "We are looking for exceptional people to join our flight crew and all successful applicants will undertake Kura’s BESTPILOT programme which we already know standardises and consistently delivers high quality, airline ready commercial pilots."
You can apply from Tuesday 13 December, and applications for this intake will close at midnight on Tuesday 20 December.
To be eligible to apply, you must hold a current CPL ME/IR and have trained by the modular route.
