On Friday 1 August 2014, prices for Flight Simulator Experiences on our Boeing 737-800 simulator at Cambridge Airport will increase quite substantially.
For example, a 2hr Simulator Experience (our most popular session) will increase from £490 to £690.

In addition, we have discontinued 1hr sessions as these are not compatible with our new training pilot schedule which is being introduced from August.
Why are we doing this?
The main reason is due to the much greater demand nowadays for professional airline pilot training. This means we need to reduce demand for Flight Simulator Experiences to one or two sessions per day.
When this simulator first entered service at the beginning of 2013, the current introductory pricing was intended to last for the first six months. As it turns out, we held the pricing at that level for 18 months.
Is this simulator still good value for money?
We certainly believe so. At just half the hourly rates of the full flight simulators that we offer at Gatwick, Manchester and Southampton, the Boeing 737-800 simulator at Cambridge Airport still offers the very best value for money.
In the words of one recent customer:
How to beat the price increase?
If you book an experience by Thursday 31 July, you will pay the current introductory rates. Dates are currently available up to the end of September.
If that's too soon for you, just buy an open-dated Gift Voucher by 31 July. You will be able to buy it at the current introductory rates, but the voucher will still be valid for a full 12 months from the date of issue, so you'll have a year to redeem it.
